To achieve a lush lawn, no longer are the calendar blanket applications of weed and feed acceptable.

Today's integrated pest management (or as we prefer to call it - "intelligent property management") methods are designed to create a healthy lawn with sufficient plant strength and density to survive weed, insect and disease attacks with minimum pesticide use.

Applied by TriOrganics since the early 1990s, this approach reduces future amounts of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides needed to correct future problems. Through IPM techniques, TriOrganics changes your soil's structure by applying a careful balance of biological, cultural and environmental practices.

A 5-visit IPM Lawn Care Program includes:


Visit #1 (March - May): A well-balanced fertilizer with pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control is applied to your lawn. Weeds are spot treated (temperature permitting).


Visit #2 (May - June): A well-balanced fertilizer with pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control is applied to your lawn. Weeds are spot treated.

Visit #3 (June - July): A well-balanced fertilizer with surface insect, subsurface insect and grub control is applied. Weeds are spot treated.

Visit #4 (August - September): A well-balanced fertilizer with extra nutrients to help the lawn recover from summer stress is applied. Weeds are spot treated.

Visit #5 (September - November): A well-balanced fertilizer with lime is applied. Weeds are spot treated (temperature permitting).

A 6-visit IPM Lawn Care Plus Program consists of everything in the IPM Lawn Care Program as well as an extra visit (during August - October) where core aeration and over-seeding are completed.
